Douglas W. Lundy, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and co-president of Resurgens Orthopaedics in Marietta, Ga.
Dr. Lundy is also affiliated with Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
In October, Dr. Lundy was elected to serve a one-year term as president of The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
With expertise in orthopedic trauma surgery, Dr. Lundy's additional specialties include fracture care and reconstructive surgery as well as limb lengthening.
Dr. Lundy is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, Orthopaedic Trauma Association and Georgia Orthopaedic Society, among other professional associations.
After earning his medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Lundy completed his residency at Atlanta-based Georgia Baptist Medical Center and underwent orthopedic trauma and foot and ankle fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
