Leslie Ellis, MD, and Alex Rothfeld, MD, joined Merrick, N.Y.-based Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group, an affiliate of New York City-based Northwell Health in early October.
Dr. Ellis is a primary care sports medicine specialist focusing on fracture care in trauma, use of knee immobilizers in the ER, bone stress injuries and ultrasound techniques.
Dr. Rothfeld is an orthopedic surgeon with extensive sports medicine research focusing on shoulder and knee MRIs as well as kneecap repair with a knotless suture.
Drs. Ellis and Rothfeld will see patients at the Smithtown and Woodbury offices in New York.
