Here are four orthopedic surgeons making the news this week.

ValueHealth appointed William Hozack, MD, of Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics, as medical director. 

Robert Anderson, MD, of Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Green Bay, Wis., repaired the torn right Achilles tendon of Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell.

Chris Uggen, MD, of Ascension Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Mich., and William Charlton, MD, of Commonwealth Health Physician Network in Kingston and Tunkhannock, Pa., reflected on working with Kobe Bryant during their time with the Los Angeles Lakers.

With burnout more widely reported during winter, Leo Rozmaryn, MD, of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics in Bethesda, Md., outlined strategies for physicians to overcome the feeling.
