360 Orthopedics announced March 10 that Jeffrey Silverstein, MD, was appointed the new chief of surgery at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota (Fla.), SRQ reports.
What you should know:
1. Dr. Silverstein is a managing partner and president of the Sarasota-based 360 Orthopedics.
2. He earned his medical degree from Morgantown-based West Virginia University School of Medicine, completed a residency at University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center and completed a fellowship at Tampa-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
3. Dr. Silverstein will continue to treat patients at 360 Orthopedics' three locations.
