The OrthoForum, a network of orthopedic private practices, has named the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Registry Program as the recommended registries for its members, according to a July 16 announcement.
Three things to know:
1. The four registries included are: the American Joint Replacement Registry, the Shoulder & Elbow Registry, the Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry and the American Spine Registry.
2. The AAOS Registry Program will help OrthoForum raise awareness on the importance of patient-reported outcomes within each practice.
3. The organization seeks to develop value-based environments for member practices and improve the quality of orthopedic care.
