Sharat Kusuma, MD, joined the strategic advisory board for vTail Healthcare Communications, according to an Aug. 24 news release.
Dr. Kusuma practiced academic orthopedic surgery in Columbus, Ohio. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn., and completed further training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
He's authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is senior vice president and chief medical officer at Exactech.
VTail is a healthcare communications platform, and plans to launch in the orthopedic and dental markets.
