AdventHealth tops off $100M innovation tower that will house Rothman Orthopaedics

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth on Dec. 16 topped off its 12-story Innovation Tower that will be dedicated to orthopedics and neuroscience, Orlando Business Journal reported.

Costing about $100 million, the 300,000-square-foot facility will focus on outpatient care and research. Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Orlando Neurosurgery are leasing space in the building, which also will house AdventHealth's neuroscience institute and brain health program.

"Putting the services in one place allows for synergy between programs and can allow the planning of a patient's future care," Kristin Jimenez, COO of AdventHealth's institutes, told the publication.

A medical real estate company is developing the project in collaboration with AdventHealth and physicians in the building.

The tower is expected to open in late 2022.
