Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic opened 50 years ago, and since has become a preeminent provider across Florida and Georgia.

1. Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic was formed 50 years ago to address a broad deficit in access to high quality orthopedic and sports medicine care across the Big Bend of Florida and South Georgia.
2. Today, TOC has grown to over 70 physicians and providers with 225,000 patient visits and 12,500 operating room cases performed last year alone. A map of TOC patients demonstrates consumers travel from several hours away to access expertise offered by TOC physicians.
3. TOC has served as the team physician for Florida State University for the past 30 years. In addition, TOC serves as the team physician for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, one of the largest and highest performing Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the U.S.
4. TOC physicians also serve as faculty within the Florida State University College of Medicine to train the next generation of orthopedic and sports medicine providers.
5. The TOC delivery system spans 10 regional locations across South Georgia and North Florida.
6. In response to thousands of patients that travel more than two hours from Panama City to TOC's office each year, the organization has invested in a new division that includes full service offices in Panama City and Panama City Beach. The first office will open in October.
7. The TOC Orthopedic Surgery Center is an industry leader in outpatient orthopedics. The spine and joint replacement programs offer robotic surgery and the full range of minimally invasive techniques that allow patients to return home in a matter of hours.
