Phoenix-based OrthoArizona added two new physicians and added the first Foot and Ankle Fellowship program in the area, according to an Oct. 10 press release sent to Becker's.
The fellowship program, which is fully accredited by the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society, is a year-long training program that offers research opportunities through OrthoArizona.
Kristin Kress, MD, was the program's first fellow. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Vermont (Burlington) Medical Center before joining OrthoArizona.
In November, OrthoArizona will add foot and ankle specialist Braden Boyer, MD, after he finishes his residency at Memphis, Tenn.-based Campbell Clinic. He completed his residency at the University of Texas San Antonio.
In December, OrthoArizona will add specialist Martin Weisman, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with 10 years of experience in different levels of orthopedics.
