Kim Mikes, BSN, RN. CEO: Ms. Mikes was appointed CEO in September 2021, replacing former CEO Jennifer Mitzner. Ms. Mikes previously served as senior vice president, COO and chief nursing officer at HOI. She is the third consecutive female CEO at HOI.
Steven Barnett, MD. Chief medical officer: Dr. Barnett was named CMO in January 2021. He oversees more than 300 physicians and HOI's annual outcomes reporting process. He specializes in total hip and knee replacement, along with reconstructive surgery.
Jeremy Smith, MD. Chief of spine surgery: Dr. Smith was appointed chief of spine surgery in May 2021. He aims to improve community education on spine care and maintain communication with other physicians at HOI. He received fellowship training from Rothman Institute at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
