Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute earned The Joint Commission's certification for spine and shoulder care, according to a Nov. 14 news release shared in The Highland County Press.
Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute previously earned certification from The Joint Commission for stroke and hip and knee programs, the release said. Certification involved an extensive review process from data analytics to an on-site assessment.
In recent months, Adena Health System expanded its orthopedic and spine institute, and it added a new spine surgeon.
