Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Drexel University Athletics, both in Philadelphia, signed a multi-year partnership.
Rothman will be the official orthopedic partner of Drexel athletics and oversee the onsite clinic for student athletes, the university said in a Dec. 1 news release. Rothman will also have a strong branding presence at Drexel's Daskalakis Athletic Center.
"This partnership will be great for all parties involved, and we are thrilled to partner with Drexel University on providing high-quality orthopaedic care to their student-athletes, Rothman President, Alexander Vaccaro, MD, PhD, said in the release. "Additionally, we look forward to educating the athletes on the latest evidence-based recommendations, prevention and treatment options which are essential for keeping all athletes safe."
