Twenty moves in August:
1. Sports medicine surgeon Myra Trivellas, MD, and foot and ankle surgeon Brandon Haghverdian, MD, joined the staff of Irvine, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute.
2. Missoula (Mont.) Bone, Joint and Surgery Center added a new orthopedic trauma surgeon, Richard Myers, MD, to provide severe injury treatment that previously was available only out of state.
3. Ben Mayo, MD, who specializes in complex shoulder and knee conditions, joined Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics Spine and Pain Specialists in Troy, Mich.
4. Flagstaff (Ariz.) Bone and Joint added Liam Bosch, MD, a joint replacement and revision specialist.
5. Intermountain Park City (Utah) Hospital welcomed its first pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Marcella Woiczik, MD, to expand pediatric care for families in the region.
6. Firelands Physician Group Sandusky (Ohio) Orthopedics added Kevin Bailey, DO, to its team of orthopedic surgeons.
7. East Lansing, Mich.-based MSU Health Care Sports Medicine added orthopedic spine surgeon Mohamed Salar, MD.
8. Struan Coleman, MD, PhD, an orthopedic surgeon with New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, was named chief medical officer of Copper Fit.
9. Zachary Hill, MD, a minimally invasive arthroscopic joint repair, hip and knee replacement and nonsurgical care specialist, joined Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in Fresno, Calif.
10. Huron (S.D.) Regional Medical Center added Kevin Hofer, MD, a general orthopedics and sports medicine specialist, to its medical staff.
11. Orthopedic surgeon Benjamin Kopp, MD, physical medicine and rehabilitation physician W. Taylor Riden, DO, and primary care sports medicine physician Chelsea Stanford, MD, joined the team at University Orthopaedic Surgeons in Knoxville, Tenn.
12. Mary Ireland, MD, of Lexington-based University of Kentucky, was inducted into the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Hall of Fame.
13. Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Verena Schreiber, MD, and spine surgeon Jeffrey Wang, MD, joined the scientific advisory board of Bioretec, an orthopedic medtech company.
14. Orthopedic Care Partners affiliated with the practice of Nathan Mall, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and independent medical examiner.
15. Orthopedic surgeon Steven Jones, MD, is joining the team at North Oaks Orthopaedic Specialty Center in Hammond, La.
16. New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery appointed David Mayman, MD, and Daniel Green, MD, to its leadership team. Dr. Mayman will serve as chief of the adult reconstruction and joint replacement service and Dr. Green will serve as chief of the pediatric orthopedic surgery service.

1. San Diego-based Synergy Orthopedic Specialists merged with a workers' compensation practice led by Thomas Harris, MD, and the group added two other physicians: Pascual Dutton, MD, and Scot Youngblood, MD.
2. David Deliberato, DO, joined Boca Raton, Fla.-based Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group.
3. Bassel Diebo, MD, joined University Orthopedics’ Center for Spine Health at its East Providence, Johnston and Cranston, R.I., locations.
4. Plinio Caldera, MD, joined the orthopedics team at Uvalde (Texas) Medical and Surgical Associates.
5. Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health appointed hand and wrist surgeon Thomas Hunt, MD, as its vice president and chief physician executive of musculoskeletal medicine.
6. Orthopedic surgeon Preetinder Bhullar, MD, joined Warren, Mich.-based Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics Spine and Pain Specialists.
7. David Helfet, MD, an orthopedic trauma surgeon at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, was named executive medical director of HSS at NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Fla.
8. Timothy Iorio, MD, joined Highland Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Hillsboro, Ohio.
9. New York City-based Columbia University named David Trofa, MD, an arthroscopic and open surgery of the knee and shoulder specialist, as the next head physician for the Lions — the school's collective athletic teams.

1. Josh Hudgens, MD, joined EmergeOrtho's Durham, N.C.-based Triangle Region.
2. Anjan Shah, MD, an orthopedic trauma surgeon and chief of staff and director of orthopedic trauma at Brandon (Fla.) Regional Hospital, was named chief medical officer of medtech company Conventus Flower Orthopedics.
3. Robert Doane, MD, was elected to the Michigan State Medical Society board of directors. He will serve a three-year term and represent physicians from Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham and Jackson counties.
4. Thomas Shockley Jr., MD, was named Cincinnati-based TriHealth's inaugural chief health equity officer. He will continue to serve as associate chief medical officer of TriHealth's Bethesda North region.
5. Martin Ross, MD, joined the orthopedic surgery team at Rome (N.Y.) Health Orthopedic & Sports Medicine.
6. Fairlawn, Ohio-based Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center added Timothy Nice, MD, and John Krebs, MD, to its team of physicians in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.
7. Julienne Lippe, MD, joined Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Mont.
8. Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute in Allentown, Pa., appointed Thomas Graham, MD, as its first physician-in-chief. He has served as a hand surgery consultant, team physician or medical director for teams in the NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA as well as the PGA Tour.
9. Orthopedic surgeon Dale Rader, MD, joined Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho at its new location in Statesville, N.C.
10. Detroit-based Henry Ford Health appointed orthopedic surgeon and shoulder specialist Jonathan Braman, MD, as its chair and medical director of orthopedic services. He previously served as chief of shoulder surgery, professor of orthopedic surgery, vice chair of faculty development and director of orthopedic research at the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Minneapolis.
11. Justin Duke, MD, joined Samaritan Health Services, based in Corvallis, Ore. He will provide care to patients at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital and Samaritan Coastal Clinic, both in Lincoln City, Ore.
