Below is a list of 10 sports medicine leaders who have made a positive impact on their organizations and have their sights set on future growth.

Justin Mullner, MD. Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute (Fla.). Dr. Mullner is a sports medicine physician at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He serves as the head primary care sports physician for the Orlando City Soccer Club of Major League Soccer and the Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League. Dr. Mullner specializes in providing nonoperative management of musculoskeletal injuries and sports related concussions.

Hector Mejia, MD. Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Mejia is a sports medicine specialist at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic. He specializes in anterior cruciate ligament reconstructive knee surgery, total shoulder replacement surgeries and ulnar collateral ligament reconstructive elbow surgery. Dr. Mejia is also a team doctor with Florida State University Athletics in Tallahassee. 

Amit Momaya, MD. University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Momaya is a sports medicine surgeon in the department of orthopedic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also serves as a team physician for the university's athletic program, the Birmingham Legion FC soccer team and the Birmingham Bulls hockey team. Dr. Momaya has research interests in anterior cruciate ligament injuries, meniscus repair and shoulder dislocations. 

Andrew Ebert, MD. Warren Clinic (Tulsa, Okla.). Dr. Ebert is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Warren Clinic. He is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the Oklahoma State University for Health Sciences. Dr. Ebert served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as a general orthopedic surgeon. 

Afshin Mashoof, MD. Orange Coast Medical Center (Fountain Valley, Calif.). Dr. Mashoof is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He is experienced in total joint replacement of the knee, shoulder and hip. Dr. Mashoof has more than 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. 

Amy MacDougall, MD. Carle Foundation Hospital (Urbana, Ill.). Dr. MacDougall is a sports medicine specialist at Carle Foundation Hospital. Frederick Soliman, DO. Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute (Fla.). Dr. Soliman is a sports medicine physician at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Soliman also serves as the primary care sports physician for the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Amy Powell, MD. University of Utah Health (Salt Lake City). Dr. Powell is a sports medicine physician at University of Utah Health. She is also a clinical professor in the university's orthopedics department. Dr. Powell also serves as a team physician for the school's athletic program. 

Andrea Stracciolini, MD. Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Stracciolini is a sports medicine physician at Boston Children's Hospital. She also serves as an associate professor of pediatrics and orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Stracciolini is the director of the hospital's performing artist athletes program. 

Andrew Parker, MD. Texas Health Orthopedic Specialists (Allen). Dr. Parker is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Texas Health Orthopedic Specialists. He specializes in knee and shoulder joint replacements as well as arthroscopic shoulder, knee and elbow techniques. Dr. Parker is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America
