On May 25, three construction workers were taken to the hospital following a scaffolding collapse at the site of the new Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Orthopedic Hospital.
Now the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the collapse, according to a May 25 report from ABC affiliate Dakota News Now.
OSHA compliance officers are interviewing the injured employees' employers, Minnesota-based Northland Concrete and Masonry Company and general contractor Henry Carlson.
No information on the investigation will be released until it is complete, which could take up to six months, according to the report.
