Orthofix has made changes to its board of directors, reappointing Catherine Burzik as chair. She previously served in the role from 2021 to 2022 before assuming the position of lead independent director of the new board formed from the Orthofix and SeaSpine merger.
Shareholders also reelected Wayne Burris, who served on the board from 2021 to 2022, according to a June 20 press release.
Mr. Burris will serve on the audit and finance and compliance and ethics committees. Current executive chair of the board, Jon Serbousek, did not stand for reelection.
Ms. Burzik previously held roles at Kinetic Concepts, Applied Biosystems Group and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics.
Mr. Burris served as CFO and senior vice president of Roche Diagnostics Corporation.
