Physician-owned orthopedic specialty and critical access hospital Optim Medical Center-Tattnall (Ga.) is breaking ground on two projects in Reidsville, Ga., according to a July 10 report from AllOnGeorgia.

The first project is an expanded and renovated lobby that will feature 7,032 square feet of space, adding more space for patients, visitors and staff. It is 2.5 times bigger than the existing lobby space and is expected to be completed in July 2024.

The second project is the addition of nine inpatient rooms, which will replace older rooms being converted for other uses. The new patient rooms will add 5,838 square feet to the hospital and are expected to be finished in June 2024.
