New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and Naples, Fla.-based NCH Healthcare System are partnering to build a $90 million orthopedic center, Naples Daily News reported July 14.
Plans for the facility were shared with Collier County's planning department, the report said. It is expected to be 80,000 square fet, and it is estimated to cost $90 million to $120 million. It will also include an ASC that's jointly owned between NCH and HSS.
Construction is expected to begin later this year, and it could be completed in early 2025.
HSS and NCH have had an ongoing partnership, and in July they named David Helfet, MD, as executive medical director of HSS at NCH.
