Here are two orthopedic practices that have been hit with data breaches that Becker's has reported on since Aug. 14:
1. Gautier, Miss.-based Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists was hit with a data breach. The practice learned it suffered a cyberattack March 5, secured its network and launched an investigation.
2. Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics was hit with a data breach that may have exposed sensitive information of current and former patients.
