Johnson & Johnson posted increases in third quarter revenue and orthopedic sales, according to an Oct. 17 news release from the company.
Four notes:
1. Johnson & Johnson reported $21.4 billion in second-quarter sales, a 6.8% increase year-over-year.
2. Orthopedic sales of $2.2 billion in the third quarter was a 3.4% increase compared to the same time in 2022.
3. Hip sales were $375 million, up 6.5% year-over-year. Knee sales grew 6.7% year over year at $338 million. Trauma sales rose 3.5% year over year with $742 million.
4. The spine and sports medicine segment rose less than 1% year over year with $710 million.
