Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute adds 6 physicians

Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, the state's first orthopedic specialty hospital, added six  physicians to its team, according to a Nov. 3 news release shared with Becker's.

Bruce Levy, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in complex hip and knee injuries. He previously worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

J. Dean Cole, MD, has worked in central Florida since 1989 and specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, along with deformity correction.

Andrew Carbone, MD, has dual-fellowship training in orthopedics and sports medicine. He has fellowship training from Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles and the American Hip Institute & Orthopedic Specialists in Chicago.

Elizabeth Jacobs, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in trauma and arthroplasty. She completed fellowships at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and the University of Texas Science Center in San Antonio.

Hamadi Murphy, MD, is a spine surgeon and who specializes in orthopedic and trauma care. He completed fellowship training in adult degenerative spine surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles.

Tracy Nogle, DO, is a sports medicine physician. She is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians and is board certified in family medicine.
