Here are four orthopedic practices that have suffered data breaches that Becker's has reported on since Aug. 14:
1. Seattle-based Proliance Surgeons suffered a cyber attack in February. Proliance alerted the attorney general of Massachusetts about the breach Nov. 21.
2. New York City-based Brooklyn Premier Orthopedics experienced a data security incident that may have affected more than 48,000 people.
3. Gautier, Miss.-based Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists was hit with a data breach.
4. Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics was hit with a data breach that may have exposed sensitive information of current and former patients.
