As healthcare continued to evolve in 2023, five orthopedic and spine practices closed their doors permanently, some with plans to open new facilities in their place.
Practices closing doors in 2023:
1. The BoulderCentre (Colo.) for Orthopedics & Spine permanently closed its Lafayette, Colo.-based facility in anticipation of a new facility in Broomfield, Colo.
2. The Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine closed its Owensboro, Ky., clinic in anticipation of relocating to a new space.
3. Tri-County Orthopedics in Jefferson, N.J., closed its Denville, N.J., office. The five physicians working from Denville moved to the Cedar Knolls, N.J., and Jefferson offices.
4. Venice, Fla.-based Suncoast Orthopedics closed its Venice facility and Venice Satellite Office in anticipation of a new facility.
5. Columbus, Ind.-based Southern Indiana Orthopedics closed its Columbus office to prepare for a move to a new facility.
