Fort Lauderdale-based Florida Pain & Rehabilitation Associates, led by designated physician and pain medicine specialist Sergio Lenchig, MD, is under a 30-day suspension for safety infractions, according to a Jan. 3 report from the Miami Herald.
A 2022 inspection of the facility found that a physician listed on the registration was not working there anymore.
Additionally, the facility's crash cart did not have albuterol with a small volume nebulizer for bronchospasms, atropine, epinephrine, calcium chloride, naloxone or paralytic drug given during anesthesia.
Its 30-day suspension went into effect on Dec. 29.
