OrthoPediatrics acquired Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics, according to a Jan. 8 news release.
Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics provides nonsurgical scoliosis treatment devices and has been in operation for more than 50 years. OrthoPediatrics acquired the company for $22 million upfront.
"This acquisition enables us to serve more patients as an extension of our growth strategy to surround our pediatric orthopedic surgeon customers with the most comprehensive portfolio of pediatric orthopedic treatment devices," Dave Bailey, CEO of OrthoPediatrics, said in the news release.
