Immersive surgical training program company Osso VR has added five new orthopedic training modules to its Osso Academy, a virtual reality medical training library.
Osso offers medical trainees access to one of the largest orthopedic virtual reality training libraries, with more than 30 modules available, according to a Jan. 18 press release sent to Becker's.
The latest module expansion adds training for knee arthroscopy, supracondylar humerus fracture, carpal tunnel release, bi-malleolar ankle fracture and femoral neck fractures.
Osso's content is aligned with requirements from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The company has also added Illustrative View, a new assessment tool in the immersive operative suite and on the Osso Analytics web platform that allows users to visualize their performance and better understand their anatomic understanding.
