Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health had its advanced total hip and knee replacement certification renewed by The Joint Commission.
Adena Regional Medical Center is one of nine hospitals in Ohio to have the certification, and it is the only one in central Ohio, according to a March 12 news release.
To earn certification and have it renewed, The Joint Commission performed an unannounced onsite review to evaluate compliance with certification standards.
