Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics has marked several achievements under the leadership of Edward Tufaro as interim CEO.
Mr. Tufaro was named interim CEO in March 2023 after previously serving as the practice's senior vice president of operations. He was appointed to the role following the exit of former CEO Christopher Olivia, MD.

1. G. Russell Huffman, MD, completed the first reverse total shoulder arthroplasty using the Apple Vision Pro.
2. Independence Blue Cross and Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute extended their value-based care agreement for three more years.
3. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute unveiled its relocated Lake Nona office in Orlando, Fla.

1. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute completed its first procedure at the Orlando, Fla.-based Innovation Tower's ASC.
2. Steven Cohen, MD, a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon at Rothman Orthopaedics, performed knee surgery on Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Cristian Pache May 1.
3. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute launched an eight-month long campaign focusing on patient stories.
4. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Conner Strong & Bucklew, an insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm, partnered to form Rothman Direct. Features of Rothman Direct include extended call center hours, nurse navigation services and online scheduling tool to connect with Rothman physicians.
