Ron Mayer is the new CEO of OrthoLazer Orthopedic Laser Centers, the Rochester, N.Y.-based practice said July 9.
He assumed the role July 1, succeeding Mark Mollenkopf, according to a news release. Mr. Mayer has more than four decades of experience in the orthopedic industry, and he will oversee OrthoLazer's corporate operations, strategic planning and business development.
"We are confident that under his guidance, OrthoLazer will continue to transform the way orthopedic pain is treated, making a significant impact on the lives of patients across the country," Scott Sigman, MD, co-founder and chief medical officer of OrthoLazer, said in the release.
