Joe Burrow cleared for play after procedure by Dr. Thomas Graham

Orthopedic

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been cleared for a full return to practice after undergoing a wrist surgery performed by Thomas Graham, MD, according to a July 22 report from Bleacher Report.

In December, Mr. Burrow underwent surgery to repair a tear in the scapholunate ligament on his right wrist, according to a report from USA Today.

Dr. Graham is physician in chief at the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute in Bethlehem, Pa. He has operated on a number of professional athletes, including Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook and Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper.

Mr. Burrow was limited to 10 starts last season because of the torn ligament. He may now return to normal practice with no limitations.
