Smithville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas has added John Weaver, MD, to its Smithville and Sparta, Tenn., locations, according to an Aug. 14 report from the Smithville Review.
Dr. Weaver will be the sole orthopedic surgeon in the area, bringing in more than 35 years of experience.
He has a special interest in treating conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and fractures and performing both hip and total knee replacements, the report said.
