Mahmoud Almasri, MD, performed hip surgery on Alec Kann, a goalkeeper for FC Cincinnati.
The procedure was to repair a torn muscle in Mr. Kann's hip. The surgery will cause him to miss the remainder of the 2024 MLS season, according to an Aug. 21 news release from the team.
Dr. Almasri performed the surgery at Mercy Health – Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital.
Dr. Almasri an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip arthroscopy, athletic hip disorders and minimally invasive shoulder and knee surgery.
