Savannah, Ga.-based Optim Orthopedics has launched a digital care app, OptimNOW, to give patients direct access to orthopedic care 24 hours a day, according to an Oct. 1 report from Grice Connect.
The service will be offered through the Hurt! app, which offers patients guidance and support with no paywalls or subscriptions.
The service is designed to help patients seeking timely orthopedic advice to determine whether they should visit an urgent care, emergency room or schedule an in-person clinic appointment.
Optim teamed up with Hurt!, initially founded in 2020, to create a new patient access point for Georgia-based patients.
Hurt! is available as a mobile application and a web/desktop platform. OptimNOW is intended for patients with injury-related emergencies, sports injuries, persistent orthopedic pain, or busy lives.
