The Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is expanding its workforce, adding seven new physicians in 2024, according to an Oct. 23 press release sent to Becker's.
Here are the seven new physicians added by the practice so far this year:
Brian Braithwaite, MD, is an interventional spine and pain management physician, specializing in treating pain-causing musculoskeletal conditions. He uses injection therapy to minimize reliance on medications and delay surgery where possible.
Jaime Carvajal, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint reconstruction surgery, including robotic hip and knee replacements as well as minimally invasive techniques, partial replacements, anterior hip arthroplasty and rapid recovery protocols.
Kyle Cox, MD, is an orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon.
Joseph Monir, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in treatment of pain and injury in the hands and upper extremities.
Hunter Rafoth, MD, is a primary care sports medicine physician who is board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine. Dr. Rafoth treats professional and amateur athletes and provides nonsurgical orthopedic care.
John Sanderson, DO, specializes in sports medicine and has a particular interest in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound as a tool for diagnosing musculoskeletal pathology. Dr. Sanderson is also passionate about sports-related concussion treatment and research.
Reza Tanveer, DO, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He also provides comprehensive care for chronic joint and tendon pain using ultrasound-guided procedures and formulating rehabilitation plans for his patients. He prioritizes holistic patient care and personalized treatment options.
