OrthoWorx, an Indiana-based initiative formed in 2009 to support the orthopedic industry, has appointed Ryan Christner as its orthopedic industry retention initiative executive director.
Mr. Christner has more than 14 years of experience in the orthopedic industry, holding roles in operations management, supply chains and logistics, according to a Nov. 6 press release.
He will oversee the implementation and deployment of the state-funded orthopedic industry retention initiative. He will work in partnership with the retention committee, government entities, industry and business leaders and other community stakeholders.
OrthoWorx is actively recruiting for the orthopedic industry retention initiative project manager position.
In June, the nonprofit received $30 million from the state to go toward the orthopedic industry retention initiative to attract and retain orthopedic talent in the area.
