Ossio raised $27.6 million in equity funding to accelerate commercialization of its Ossiofiber surgical implants, the company said Dec. 2.
Questa Capital led the funding round, and existing investors also participated. The money will scale all aspects of commercialization including a new product pipeline, sales channel and medical education, according to a news release. Ossio will also build a flagship U.S. manufacturing site and surgeon training in Florida.
Ossiofiber implants provide fixation without metal and bone in-growth, regeneration and replacement.
