Jon Henry, MD, was named president of the Wisconsin Orthopaedic Society, according to a Green Bay Press Gazette report.
Here are four things to know about Dr. Henry:
1. Dr. Henry is the acting medical director of the Green Bay, Wis.-based Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine program. He has previously served in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corps.
2. In addition to the Wisconsin Orthopaedic Society, he is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
3. Dr. Henry has a professional interest in arthroscopic labral repair, general orthopedics, hip arthroscopy, knee realignment, ligament reconstruction and sports medicine services.
4. Dr. Henry completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Syracuse (N.Y.) Upstate Medical University and a sports medicine fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus.
