Brian Mehling, MD, was a keynote speaker at Wright State University's Orthopaedic Research and Innovation Symposium on April 6 in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Mehling, of West Islip, N.Y.-based Mehling Orthopedics, is an alumnus of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He is also CMO of Blue Horizon International, a healthcare consulting company that provides stem cell therapies to emerging markets and charity care to the underserved. His presentation focused on the use of stem cells in treating chronic inflammation symptoms.
"Stem cells are the future of medicine and we believe their role in treatments will become the preferred substitutes for many surgical, pharmacological and rehabilitative medical services," said Dr. Mehling.
