Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., welcomed orthopedic surgeon Jason Hochfelder, MD, according to Tarrytown-SleepyHollow Daily Voice.
Here are five notes:
1. Dr. Hochfelder is trained in hip and knee replacement and hip arthroscopy.
2. He also performs autologous chondrocyte implantation, which treats cartilage damage for younger patients.
3. After graduating from New York University School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Hochfelder completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York City.
4. He also finished a fellowship in hip and knee surgery at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City.
5. U.S. News & World Report ranked Phelps Memorial 16th of 250 hospitals and "high performing" for hip and knee replacement.
