Wolters Kluwer entered into a multi-year agreement with The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Here are four key notes:
1. As per the agreement, Wolters Kluwer will publish The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery, JBJS Essential Surgical Techniques, JBJS Case Connector and JBJS Reviews, beginning January 2016.
2. The partnership marks the transition of the JBJS journals portfolio to a commercial publisher after more than a century of self-publishing.
3. The flagship of the portfolio, The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery, can trace its origins back to 1889.
4. As the publisher, Wolters Kluwer will focus on enhancing JBJS' reputation and influence and expanding its readership globally.
