Haverhill, Mass.-based Associates in Orthopedics added Xavier Simcock, MD, to its staff, the Eagle Tribune reports.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Simcock is an orthopedic surgeon subspecializing in degenerative joint disease, nerve compression and sports medicine.
2. His career began after he earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York. He completed a residency at Harvard University in Boston before completing a fellowship in hand, wrist and elbow surgery and a fellowship in shoulder surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
3. Dr. Simcock is one of only five other physicians in the US with this type of specialty hand surgery training. The American Society for Surgery of the Hand sponsored his fellowship.
