Orthopedic surgeon Neema Pourtaheri, MD, is joining Santa Rosa (Calif.) Orthopedics.

2. His career began after he earned his medical degree from New Orleans' Tulane University. He completed a residency at Mishawaka, Ind.-based St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and a fellowship at New York's Beth Israel Medical Center.
3. Dr. Pourtaheri is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of several professional societies including the Arthroscopic Association of North America.
4. Dr. Pourtaheri has several bylines to his name in peer reviewed journals for his orthopedic-based research.
