Dr. Thomas Finnegan dies at 72

Orthopedic surgeon, Thomas L. Finnegan, MD, has passed away in his hometown of Manitowoc, Wis., according to Sauk Valley.  

1. Dr. Finnegan graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago before completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and his fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

 

2. Dr. Finnegan served as a flight surgeon in the Air Force towards the end of the Vietnam War.

 

3. He was certified to practice in California, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

 

4. Dr. Finnegan was a member of the American Medical Association, the State Orthopaedic Society, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Mid America Orthopedic Association.
