Steven Carawan, MD, joined Kings Daughters Health System in Ashland, Ohio, according to the Floyd County Times.
Dr. Carawan is an orthopedic surgeon who previously practiced at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Ky. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed a residency in orthopedics at Texas A&M University Health Science Center and Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Carawan is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and joins five other orthopedic physicians at KDMS Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
His practice will include hip and knee total joint replacements.
