5 orthopedic surgeons join Sparks Regional Medical Center: 5 insights

Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., welcomed five orthopedic surgeons from the Cooper Clinic in Forth Smith, Ark., according to the Times Record.

Here are five insights:

 

1. Jeffrey Evans, MD, specializes in joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

2. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, John Harp, MD, is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

 

3. Eric Heim, MD, underwent fellowship training in hand surgery at the Children's Hospital of Colorado in Denver. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society of Surgery of the Hand.

 

4. Stephen Heim, MD, earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is a member of the Arkansas Medical Society.

 

5. Board certified in orthopedic surgery and certified from the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, Michael Wolfe, MD, is a member of the Arkansas Orthopaedic Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in

Nashville, Tenn.
