Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Bryan Kelly of Hospital for Special Surgery

Bryan Kelly, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon, chief of sport medicine and co-director of the Center for Hip Preservation at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

Additionally, Dr. Kelly serves as the head team physician for the New York Rangers and head orthopedic consultant for the UFC. He is a professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

 

Authoring more than 140 papers, Dr. Kelly is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.

 

After earning his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C., Dr. Kelly completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He underwent fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Hospital for Special Surgery.
