Elaine Mau, MD, joined Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System Orthopedic Group.

1. Dr. Mau specializes in shoulder replacement surgery and rotator cuff repair. She has physician privileges at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare, an affiliate of MVHS.
2. Prior to joining the MVHS Medical Group, Dr. Mau was affiliated with Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine, focusing on shoulder and elbow reconstruction and arthroscopy. She also practiced at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston and Franklin Memorial Hospital in Auburn, Maine.
3. Dr. Mau received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. She underwent fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at New York University in New York City.
4. Dr. Mau is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
