Alexander Sah, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Fremont, Calif.-based Sah Orthopaedic Associates, a part of the Institute for Joint Restoration and Research at Washington Hospital in Fremont, Calif.
Additionally, Dr. Sah serves as the director of outpatient joint replacement and co-director of the Institute for Joint Restoration and Research, also in Fremont. He developed the outpatient and total knee and hip replacement program at the hospital.
Dr. Sah is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, California Orthopedic Association and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He serves as a reviewer for Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research and an editor for Techniques in Orthopaedics.
After earning his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Sah completed his residency at hospitals affiliated with the Boston-based Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program. He underwent fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
