Katherine Vadasdi, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Greenwich, Conn.-based Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists.
Dr. Vadasdi serves as director of the ONS Women's Sports Medicine Center in Greenwich and she sees patients in all three ONS locations – Greenwich and Stamford, Conn., and Harrison, N.Y. She also sits on the ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education's board of directors. Her research has been published in the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma.
A triathlete and alpine climber, Dr. Vadasdi is the team physician for Greenwich High School, Iona Preparatory School, Trinity Catholic High School and Convent of the Sacred Heart. She has been named a Top Doctor in America by Castle Connolly and a Fairfield County Top Doctor for several years.
Dr. Vadasdi earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. before completing a residency at the New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery. While undergoing fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Vadasdi was an assistant team physician for the university's athletic department.
