Sheila Algan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City.
Specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Algan is associated with several professional organizations. Her associations include the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Algan is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and became involved with the organization's Women's Health Issues Advisory Board.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Dr. Algan completed her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She continued her postgraduate training with a fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
